​There are lots of things to know about starting up with a vending machines! These are some of the basic questions/things to know.
How do I get a location?
The best way to get a location is to call and ask them! You'll be selling your services to the business and showing them what you can provide for them.
Can all vending machines take card readers?
No, not all vending machines can take card readers. Machines need to be "MDB" compatible.
Where can I buy my own card reader?
We can recommend a few different sites to get card readers from. You can look at Nayax, Payrange, USA Technology, Cantaloupe. If you need help installing the card reader, give us a call!
Where do I get product from?
The cheapest place to get product from is a wholesaler such as Costco or Sam's Club. You can also look at other places such as Restaurant Depot or Shamrock.
What do I do if something breaks or I need help/parts?
If you need parts, D&S Vending/Vendors Exchange are websites that you can go to order them. if you're looking locally, you can give us a call to see if we have anything in stock that can help you. KRL also does services calls if you're having issues with your machine and need a technician.
Why are some machines more expensive than others?
Some machines are more expensive that others due to upgraded technology, having card reader capability's, snack vs drink machines and overall being a newer machine.
How much can I expect to make a month for vending machines?
While it's hard to say exactly how much you can make at a location, the best thing is to do is be communicative with the business, service your machine often, work with what the consumers are wanting to buy & make sure machine meets company demand, ie: cash and coin vs card reader, snack vs drink.
Do I need a license to operate?
No, there is no license needed to operate. Just permission from the company/business of where you placed the machine.
